Born and raised in Bloomington Indiana. I was raised in a middle class hard working family. My parents were both factory workers who moved to Bloomington from Bedford for opportunity. I was raised to be a part of a new generation of factory worker in our cities long and storied tradition with industry. Just as I came of age, NAFTA took the wind and jobs out of the area.

My father passed away at the end of 2014. My mother, due to her continued life choices is no longer in my life. I have a half sister and niece as well.

I’m a graduate of Indiana University and the father of two beautiful daughters which I adore.

I’m the Business Systems Analyst with the University Graduate School at IU. A pivot in my career of being a technology support provider that will give an opportunity for learning, something we should never stop doing.

I’m outspoken on many issues, and often get myself into trouble for it. Because of that, I am grateful for my position in a professional environment that allows me to be me, without fear of repercussion.
